Walk in 3 times to buy a guitar, all times guys were just standing never ask if I needed help, I don’t do the costumer service for others. Lost a sale.
Unfortunately the service in the drum section seems to have become worse here over the years. When we bought cymbals a few years ago, the staff was ok. The past 2 years we didn’t experience them as very friendly and today we were even told we couldn’t use a cymbal stand to try the cymbals but to simply hit them while hanging on the wall mount – which totally distorts the sound from what they sound like on a stand. We left without buying anything.
Treated with absolute disrespect by serving clerk, cut off while trying to talk and explain what I wanted done with my instrument, treated with total disinterest. Contacted them explaining situation, have had no response. Be wary, I would not recommend……..

Upon entering I had a few questions regarding my guitar and I was searching for a specific keyboard, I left feeling satisfied with my purchases and with the answers I was provided!

Mike the owner was helpful and kind to a legendary degree! And we walked out with two lovely new guitars! Cannot recommend this family run business enough!

Well…I go in there the other day…haven’t been in there in a long time…I pick up a expensive guitar, didnt play it …and there is a yellow piece of paper on it with a date..the guy that was working there..says please dont handle everything in the store..he was very rude to me …so I said you just lost my business…and walked out ! You better tell your staff how to speak to people!!

Been going to this store for the past thirteen years since I’ve started playing guitar and I won’t be coming back, which is a shame since there isn’t really any other music stores around the city that compare.
I’ve bought multiple guitars, amps, pedals plus the rest of my gear from here over the years. The quality is there and never had any issues or complaints, until all of a sudden I start getting really loud feedback on my fender strat that I bought over a year ago.
I get the same feedback/interference when testing on two other amps. Tried my other guitars and no issues. So I know it’s my strat that’s the problem. No big deal I’ll just bring it in and pay to have it looked over and hopefully fixed. The customer service from one individual has always been very poor over the last decade. I’ve always tried to avoid this employee for that reason. (Also need to mention that this worker wasn’t who I went too with with my guitar, but was there to assist the other worker I went too)
Told them my situation and I feel like I got blown off. They kept saying strats always give off feedback (which I don’t disagree with, but they don’t give off the noise my guitar was creating) and ignored the fact I said three times it never did this since I’ve owned it the past year. They wouldn’t even offer to take it in and look it over for me. I felt very frustrated and almost like I didn’t know what I was talking about from the condescending way they talked. I just accepted they wouldn’t do anything and left.
Brought the guitar to beats n bytes, they opened up the back, found one of the wires was loose going to the input jack. Problem fixed.
Does not answer emails. Does not make the effort to communicate. Since MAY. Clearly has no interest in helping people with limited funds find solutions.
I paid for something on finance putting down a deposit of several hundred dollars and filled out an entire contract only to be given a half empty reason I could only finance the tax, AFTER everything had been agreed to. The excuse was apparently a made-up policy as I researched on the website and referenced several people who have been to the store. It’s a real shame my first experience trying to buy music equipment and I won’t be back.

I’ve always had great experiences with everyone at L&M in Fredericton. I recently traded in a Higher end acoustic guitar and older Fender amp for some new toys (Gibson acoustic matched up with a gorgeous Fender Acoustic amp). Eric helped me with the Trade-In price which was very fair and also helped save the HST towards the new guitar. Graeme (Manager) was also helpful in making sure my experience was great! Good job guys!

Staff are very friendly and quick to help as soon as you walk in the door, however this is the third year in a row I have tried to rent equipment from L&M for an event, and the third year that I was either sent off without everything I had ordered, or pieces of the equipment were not working. Very inconvenient and I will be renting from somewhere else next year.
I go into this store frequently hoping to see something good. Their left handed stock is comprised of 1 cheap simon and patrick acoustic that has the same strings it had when I first moved here a year ago, and some combination of a cheap bullet strat, classic vibe telecaster, cheap epiphone sg, and one time they had a MIM fender strat. I shouldn’t get excited to see one MIM strat when I walk into a music store. Their selection of picks is very limited and strings are a bit pricey. I don’t know if I’ve ever spent money in this store even though I check at least weekly trying to.

Travelling from Toronto, walked into this nice store and found a great selection of CD’s, DVD’s and Vinyls. Karl, the owner, was very friendly and helped me find the stuff I needed. Ended up buying a bunch of concert DVD’s and a cheap trick band t shirt. I hope to be back to this store next time I visit Moncton.

Vince is a stand up guy, and will help you choose the instrument that’s right for you. You’ll also get a lot of insight on the instrument itself that will give you a new appreciation for the workmanship that went into it.
I came here a singer and left a musician and a friend.

Very reasonable. Excellent work. We dropped off an accordion for a friend. He fixed what he could. There was one section he said if he fixed it, where he was not as familiar he would take a lot longer than other people. He did not want to over charge us so he gave it back. Very honest. Awesome selection of products, gorgeous clothing and a fine variety of incense, smoking supplies, hair dye… almost a little bit of everything. I love the employees and the store atmosphere and they offer excellent customer service. The only downfall to this store is that some items are overly expensive for their value (particularly clothing and purses which cost a lot but fall apart easily). I still highly recommend this store, but I also recommend carefully inspecting any item you wish to purchase.
Bought pods there the other day for my vape one of my vapes immediately stopped working when i used the new pod in it so we tested the pod in 2 other vapes and killed them. Called to inquire about the issue and was rudely told they couldnt do anything without the receipt for the vapes that were bought months ago and have lasted throigh hundreds of pods. Very dissapointed have been multiple occasion a week customers ajd have spent thousands here. If i could have given less stars i would have
Bought a vape. Returned to store 10 days later because it was a very a poor quality product. Employee kindly calls the manager at the other store, who basically says I need to deal with the warranty department of the manufacturer. Definetly not how things should be. Receipt does not state any policies or “final sale”. Worst part is, I was willing to upgrade my 105$ device for a 200$ one.
Be warned: the CBD oil they sell is HEMP based and not Cannabis based. They do not label it as hemp based and the packaging does not reflect this either. Hemp based CBD is NOT regulated, does not offer the same health benefits as Cannabis CBD and can contain dangerous ingredients!

I’ll be honest here –
Me and my friend visited B&B to sell my Nintendo Switch which was in a mint condition. It was my very first visit though. I did not have my receipt that time and I forgot. One of the staff asked me for my ID which I handed it over. They looked at us as if it was stolen and gave us a very suspicious look. I kind of over heard and heard something like “something doesn’t look right” because it was like brand new. We felt being discriminated and very bad and had to leave, they refused to buy without us having receipt for the switch even though I gave them my ID which did not make sense at all. We also felt as if none of the other staff cared about their customers.
A week later, my friend called up B&B again to clear things up for what happened a week before during my first visit. He spoke with different staff member Jerrett and cleared up for what happened before that shouldn’t have in the first place. We went back to B&B and met him. We had the receipt that time as I found it. What he did was some next level customer service that I never expected such a wonderful visit ever. We sold our switch for good price, not only that, after few minutes he came by and handed over a gift card for what we went through a week before. His gesture almost brought tears in eyes and I was out of words. His words were “we would like to see you again”. He apologized multiple times for what happened before, and we did the same for raising our voice because we were extremely upset that time. Then, we looked around some guitars so we decided to buy a guitar and we did. Overall, he made our day and hoping his day went well too. This is what I call as an exceptional customer service, thanks Jerrett! You have a happy customer now!

Lost a long time customer. Smarmy and disrespectful staff cost the company $$ today. Went in for a for-sure couple of hundred dollar sale, walked out and gladly spent more on the same item elsewhere. I wouldn’t even buy a guitar pick from them anymore. Disgraceful attitudes. And, no thanks, it’s irrevocably broken, and there is nothing I want from your establishment. Here’s the sad thing… I had already purchased the item, had a question about the receipt, and your staff’s attitude make me bring it back in and nullify the sale. Not a good business model. If I could give this experience a 0, I would have.

I think the staff need some better training, do not take their word for it when they tell you that you have a store credit because I had a 40 store credit miraculously disappear. The staff aren’t trained on how to use the systems properly because no one knew how to print me off proof of my proof of my new store credit of 170. I had to make a scene and almost have an anxiety attack just to get proof to make sure I didn’t lose my 170 credit like I did with the 40 one. No manager was present to talk to me, the supervisor avoided me, and the staff just stood around staring at me like they were getting their entertainment for the day. I didn’t want to risk my 170 credit disappear like my 40 one did amd no one knew how to give me proof of this credit. Now I have a 170 credit I’m stuck with that I can’t even use because I don’t even want to go in there I’m so upset. a staff lied to me when I went in to pay on my layaway one day they told me I had enough that I could pick up one of my items that day and I expressed that I more concerned about the bigger one because the default date was close but he said not to worry about the due date as long as I’m paying I’m fine and being a loyal customer for over a decade I believed him, big mistake don’t believe when they tell you this about a layaway. The staff aren’t all on the same page. I hope nothing happens to my 170 credit
