Enjoyed the atmosphere and art work inside the cafe. Live music was a fun touch. The food was made with very fresh ingredients and everything was cooked perfectly. We greatly enjoyed our dinner here.
The food is always delicious.
Good food, great service
Rula cafe is an overall decent spot to eat to get some mostly fresh, quick and okay tasting food. The service was good, she was nice and attentive. However, I was given paper cups for both my water cup and coffee. Since I was eating in, I felt a little disappointed as you would if you were a guest at someone’s house and they only let you use their paper cups. Moreover, the last thing we need is more throwaway rubbish making more pollution to our environment. For my food I had the Greek Panini. The panini bread was homemade and absolutely delicious but sadly, the chicken was dry and obviously pre cooked. The vegetables tasted fresh but unfortunately everything, including the fries, was very bland and tasteless…
Rula cafe is a good spot that I would recommend for people that don’t care too much about high quality and can settle for decent food. It may seem like I am nit-picking them, which to some extent I am, but it’s the little things that take a place from good, to great. And when you have bad experiences, it makes it harder to remember the good ones..
Mice variety of drinks. Service is polite and friendly. Many people sitting at tables taking space without buying us kind of aggravating, but it is 38⁰ outside…
Nit very great food. Was disappointed with that. The service as alright but there again we were the only ppl there and it was at lunch time. Expected to see atleast a couple other ppl. But I found the staff who I believe are the owners were quite rude and felt like they didn’t even want us there. The atmosphere was quite odd. We felt really weird being the only ppl there. There was no noise. Not even the 2 working spoke to eachother. No music. And just strange and odd decoration. I do not think I will be returning
Kid-friendliness: They had a kids high chair but I wudnt recommend bringing children
Wheelchair accessibility: Stairs only

Great homemade burgers!! Can tell they are freshly made!! Delicious sauces and milkshakes are awesome!! Was super impressed with the quick service!!
Our goto is the classic double cheese burger and fries. Order take out, bring it home and enjoy. Delicious.
Meat Draw to support Beaver Valley Nighthawks a blast from October to end of March at Fruitvale Pub on Main Street! !!!!
The double bacon, cheese burger and fries is a good deal.
Nice staff and rustic rural dive feel, very local. Nothing from the region on tap other than water, err I mean Kokanee!
Overcharged. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Caesar for $18.90… a but expensive but, oh well. When the bill came there was an extra charge for “1 Caesar Salad” for $2.90. When I questioned it, the manager said that was for the dressing because “it’s so expensive to make”. The menu advertised the salad with “homemade creamy dressing”, but you get charged extra for it?? Nothing on the menu indicated that you have to pay extra for the dressing on your Caesar. Is a Caesar Salad even a Caesar Salad without dressing??
No apologies, just lame excuses. Sorry, I can’t recommend this place.
called a few times while they were open, never answered or called back.
Now tried it twice. The service absolutely sucks. I was sitting at the counter and the staffs friend walked in and took my seat. I mentioned that I was sitting there (all my stuff was there) and I went to only get a pop, he looked and shrugged and they went back to talking and I had to move to another table. If I could have taken my tip away and walked out I would have. I’ll drive to trail or Nelson for a burger. Never here again.
3. West Kootenay Music
Address: 1450 Cedar Ave, Trail, BC V1R 4C4, Canada , Fruitvale , British Columbia , Canada
Awesome place!!! Lisa is a wonderful person!!
Stop in and get your music!!
The Late-Night Record Shop has become my favourite store in Trail. The store is always well stocked with tons of amazing albums and every time I stop by I find something new. Cliff is very knowledgeable about music and has introduced me to artists like Rodriguez and Holly is always helpful when inquiring through email. Both are always pleasant and easy to talk to when stopping by the shop! I could probably buy a car with the amount I’ve spent on records since they opened, but its well worth it. If you’re in Trail and looking for a place with great music and friendly staff then The Late-Night Record Shop is the place to be.
Great! Every time I stop they are wonderful and it feels personal. They also have other very cool items that are always fun to inquire and check out. These guys can hook you up.

Nice little book store, well organized. Great guy working there took the time to help me select some books for my daughter
They are great! Games and books galore! And if they don’t have it they will order it in!
They saved Christmas!
Service was great. They always phone when my books are in.
Started buying the great classic literature books for my library thru this very interesting varied well stocked store.Local history, geology too. Surprisingly witty cards and calendars for difficult to buy for family. You might not expect much from a little mall store, but there is a lot going on there.
Well stocked store, knowledgable staff, and able to help get any books you’re interested in quickly and easily.
Tons of books to choose from staff is super friendly
10. Walmart Supercentre
Address: 1601 Marcolin Dr, Trail, BC V1R 4Y1, Canada , Fruitvale , British Columbia , Canada
Things are easy to find. I am not a person who likes to shop. I can get in and out quickly here.
Ok
Pretty good
Good selection of items, Walmart has changed alot from the old days. Less workers is showing on the sales floors. This store is ok. Helpful workers. Good parking,
Be careful when checking out, Walmart had a credit card loyalty program that is commission based for their employees last time I was there it was described as a membership to me and I was signed up for a credit card without being told it was a credit card, had to spend a good half hour on the phone sorting it out it. Wak as hell
Would be better and more convenient if it weren’t a Walmart stuck in the 90s. Upgrade to a damn supercentre already.
I go here on a regular basis and have had nothing but a great experience with the staff- until today, I went there with my boyfriend, found what I needed and went to the self checkout. Once I started scanning my items an order lady with short grey hair came over and took the roll of recipe paper out of the machine and walked away. I figured it was fine because I didn’t need a recipe anyways and continued scanning my items. She then came back and angrily told me she ways changing the paper… my boyfriend was absolutely taken back by the way she had spoken to me considering it was over a roll of paper and asked her politely if I could stil finish scanning my items. She then rolled her eyes at us and raised her voice and told us “NO because she was busy using the till” even though I was there long before she was. She then rolled her eyes again slammed the paper into the machine and left.
It was totally unacceptable and I can honestly say I’ve never felt more disrespected by staff at any store I’ve been in!
