So many items, kitchen stuff, clothes, decor! Loved it!
Great little locally owned and operated thrift store in Souris. Don’t let the size of the building fool you – it’s filled to the max with tons of really unique finds as well as clothing, footwear, houseware, nicknacks, jugs, art, you name it. The staff always greet me with a smile and I usually leave with someone truly one-of-a-kind. A must-stop if you like thrifting.
Wonderful experience of a small town. Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Lots of treasures.
East to get in and out .
Great local store! Staff are very knowledgeable!
Great little locally owned thrift store in Souris. Very rustic and friendly vibes. Owners were a friendly and helpful. The store had lots of cool finds, and neat stuff to add to your home. Books and clothing selection was vast. My friends loved the thrift shop and said they had a great selection of stuff
Did not have a good experience ….I am assuming a woman sitting at the front counter/desk is the owner..did not acknowledge our presence at all…should actually be called an antique shop as prices certainly are NOT thrift shop prices .

The best hardware store on pei combining old fashioned customer service with excellent selection
Beth on the till is great to deal with
Great place to buy. The sales person. Really tries to help friendly
Clerk got everything I needed in 5 minutes. Great service!
Good atmosphere and attitude. Always helpful
Fast and friendly staff.
Only place in Souris
A complete mess at our Souris Home Hardware, in someone’s wisdom they decided to hire a security guard to ensure customers wash their hands before coming into the store. As I have excema and extreme hand conditions I use alternative sanitizers that are softer and not as damaging but this was not good enough for their hired wanna be hand washing bouncer who decided it was time to go chest to chest with me, I could hear a cashier call a manager over to the commotion and I explained to the manager I was here to pay for a garage door not shop not touch anything in the store but the key pad for the debit card. Well to make a long story short if I had had Covid 19 all three of us would now have, totally no respecting 6 feet boundaries and the virus spreads through saliva droplets not hands, what a joke, however Kent was more then happy to deal with me and bought my garage door, man door and windows there, 1819.77$

Tricia was very knowledgeable and helpful. She informed us of the many types of sea glass. She showed us how to look for UV sea glass. We got her to wire a couple pieces for myself, my nephew and my two girls. We all love our pieces. I hope to one day be able to go on her night tours on the beach. I highly recommend her.
Awesome products a d the owner is a wonderful woman. You MUST try the fudge!
My kids and I love our new necklaces I’m very impressed with the service. The owner (who actually wraps the sea glass) wasn’t there when we arrived. The cashier contacted her and pass on that we wanted 4 necklaces with sea glass he had found …The owner managed to make all for necklaces Within an hour on time for us to pick back up on our way back home and keep us on schedule….they are beautiful and to me this was going above and beyond thank you !
6. Souris by the Sea Treasures Gift Shop

Great gift shop with a view. Lots of sea glass options and a lighthouse
Cute little gift shop!
Highly recommend Souris by the Sea Gift shop and the wonderful lighthouse. The ship is full of beautiful nautical and ocean themed gifts and locally made arts and crafts. Very friendly staff too:) The lighthouse is a must to visit as well because you can climb to the top as well as go outside on the top.
Nice little gift shop by the sea
7. Fire & Water Creations
Address: 690 Route 310, Bay Fortune, PE C0A 2B0, Canada , Souris , Prince Edward Island , Canada
A nice little shop, sort of out of the way. The lady proprietor was really nice and talkative. Dog friendly, Minnie enjoyed being able to antiques shop with her mommy.
Drove for almost an hour to find it was closed, although their site indicated it was open. Quite frustrating.

We’re doing there Island walk and it was a dreary, wet, cold day and we took a zero day. On the way back from the lighthouse, we could smell something wonderful cooking. When we went inside the was a party going on! Singing, dancing, and the best group of sisters on the planet!!
We sang, we danced and we ate delicious cheese burgers and onion rings. And enjoyed a fine selection of beverages. Thank you for the fun and hospitality!
We have never been disappointed with our meals at 21 Breakwater. The food is well prepared, Delicious, and reasonably priced. Without a doubt, they have the best fish & chips on PEI.
Had the nachos with bacon so so good will be back for more yummmmmm
absolutely one of the best restaurants I’ve had the pleasure of dining at. My wife and I eat here once a week and have always enjoyed our experience….delicious food, outstanding service and nice ambience. To those patrons who post negative reviews because they were asked to wear a mask, seriously? get over yourself!
Food is pleasing, reasonable and setting is attractive
Le repas était très bon. L’ambiance etait relaxante et familliale.
Arrived just before mid afternoon closing. Meal and service was great. Glad we made it I time.
Long wait
How soon people forget.I
Rude staff. Not worth it.
13. Long & McQuade Musical Instruments

Super oool staff. Store is big and well stocked. Picked up a Boss EQ. Used gear available.
Will be back. Thanks guys!!
Great shop, great selection, great staff
Great selection, hours should be adjusted. I cant make it as much as I’d like because I work when its open
The best place to learn playing musical instrument.
Worse place to order from take for ever and not nice
I custom ordered a mandolin case to ship a mandolin to my brother out west. There was a $50 non refundable deposit (understandable) however Covid happened and the shipping was delayed for over 6 month. It was supposed to be 5-10 days. By that time my brother had already made other shipping arrangements. I went in today to inquire as to whether or not the deposit could just be used towards another purchase as obviously a 6 month wait is way too long for a fancy shipping box however I was told that “non refundable “ is non refundable. I’m a musician and a DJ, my parents, siblings, and our children are also musicians. 3 of us have dumped over $10,000 on drum kits alone at Long and McQuade and that’s the tip of the iceberg in our purchases. I didn’t even want a refund. I wanted to make a purchase. I need a new mixing board. My last Mackie board I purchased is being used with my gear in NS. I’ll buy my one for the PEI events somewhere other than Long and McQuade.
14. Souris Beach Gateway Park
Address: 8 Main St, Souris, PE C0A 2B0, Canada , Souris , Prince Edward Island , Canada
Beautiful soft “squeaking” white-ish sand beach. Dig your heels in to hear the squeak! Not quite “Singing Sands” but definitely squeaking ones! There’s a bridge where kids jump off into deep water and ladders to get back up! A collection of old weathered wooden buildings, a small museum, icecream in the Summer and boardwalks from the parking lot to the beach. Plan several hours to enjoy it properly. Bring a picnic, your ukulele and a lot of sunscreen!!!!
Restrooms: It’s good they have washrooms, but they are always mildewy and unpleasant.
Lovely beach. Nice food options along the beach including ice cream and lobster rolls.
Très beau
Real nice beach
Bonne guédille aux homards.
J’ai pogné quelques écailles dans mon homard par contre. C’est quand même assez désagréable! Servi avec chips nature. Rapide et efficace!
Beautiful and peaceful beach. The lobster shack is highly recommended
Nice for a stroll on the board walk. Unfortunately the beach is full of glass. A worker advized us to keep our sandals. She and other workers walk the beach every day and picks up shards of broken glass due to hurricane Fiona. Barely any sea glass anymore.
Used to be much nicer without all the shops and things their now.
Full of broken window glass and broken beer bottles. Also animal parts. Saw several cow jaw bones.
