Love the Nan bread with egg whites, spinach and provolone cheese
Great service. Proudly Canadian. Good quality coffees and lattes. Nothing bad to say about the company as a whole and this branch in Shediac. The only minor improvement I would suggest would be cozier seating areas. Seeing as how I always take out as do many others, this is a non issue for most and the reasoning behind my five stars!
Very friendly
Nice place for a coffee, fast and friendly service
Bon café. Restaurant propre. Malheureusement, aucun service en français.
Parking: Not enough spots for more than about 6 cars.
Was at drivethru speaker at 4:56pm according to my phone, which gets it’s time from the network like everyone else, place closed at 5:00pm. When I drove to window, the young girl just completely ignored me.
We have been going here for the last 5 years but that is about to end . Just can’t take the poor service anymore! Very slow to even be acknowledged and then takes a while to get your order. When you do finally get it , it is usually wrong ! I have complained to the owner before but nothing has changed. It is a shame because we do really like the coffee but I can get a good coffee at McDonalds or Tims much quicker and much cheaper!
Last time we ask for a cousco and she serve us what was on brew and said that the sign hasn’t been change. But we know by the taste that it was not cousco.
2. Shediac Home Hardware
Address: 301C Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2A9, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Didn’t accept mask exemptions but I really like the workers. I’ll only go when I’m free to breath without panic attacks.
Grand magasin propre le monde souriant bon service
very friendly staff even though we are a minority, they speak french but still accommodate their customer in english, even mixed the paint i have bought and go beyond and offer me a cart. nice experience.
Went to exchange a $6 plus tax item but was told that I couldn’t return it because I didn’t buy it and Shediac??? I purchased in Moncton and the receipts says 30 days and nothing about “only Shediac items”. Working as a team is the only way to go in the retail environment with so much online opportunity. Much easier to just go online and order homehardware.ca
The propane prices are double from Moncton prices
Asked for specific product..rep said call tomorrow 4 on delivery truck. Called next day not on truck. Topical.
3. Guy’s Frenchys (Clothing Store)
Address: 151 Hanington Ch, Shediac, NB E4P 1W4, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Good selection Never know what you will find there
Always seem find something at each Guy’s Frenchys I have shopped at.
First time going to any Guys Frenchy’s store, not sure what to expect. Was very lites on what they had, but I get that it depends on what they have donated to them. Will probably go into Moncton to go to another location next time.
Clothes prices are very high
Prices are reasonable.
No prices on anything .. a bit high gor used clothing and knick knacks. Just spend the extra dollar or two and buy new.
Didn’t find much there
4. Giant Lobster
Address: 229 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2A5, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
The Foodie Tour with Karine was a great experience for us ‘come from aways’. Karine certainly knows her history of Shediac, is quite proud of her heritage, and articulate at presenting info in a very pleasant and informative manner. The variety of food tasting was interesting and delicious.
Merci Karine.
What a great time, take our 16 and 17 year old sons on this delicious and fun tour. Food was amazingly delicious and our host Karine was awesome.
6. Rossy
Address: 329 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2B1, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Rossy stores are great. And particulary this one. Because there is not one, but two floors! Great selection, and awesome people work there, very friendly, and kind. I will return there also because of the incredible prices. I got two cargo pants for 32$. Not bad! Awesome store!
Great
Great place for gifts buying
Messy store
I couldn’t find what I was looking for but it is a wonderful store. I will be back
Great deals, but some of the associates the younger ones have bad attitudes and poor customer service skills.
Uncooperative
Most things don’t work in the electronic sections and customer service takes a really long time for refunds
This is one store I will never go back to. The cashier was so rude and unprofessional. After she rang my items, she stood there and looked away. I had no idea I was supposed to bring my own bag or buy one. I had to shove everything in my purse. As for payment, she was mortified and let me know in a shocking way, giving me a speech that they definitely don’t accept American debit or credit card. They also returned all my items back on the racks when I went downstairs to shop. I couldn’t find them when I went back upstairs. They blamed the stock boy. It’s fine. There are plenty other places to shop.
7. La Coast
Address: 358 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2K9, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Wow! Excellent resto, excellente nourriture et excellent service! A ne pas manquer
Their Lobster poutine is the best. A must try for anyone in Moncton region
Fantastic restaurant, the food is amazing, especially the seafood. If you are in Shediac this is a must visit restaurant! You won’t be disappointed
The food was alright but not great…not enough staff
Awesome bacon wrapped scallops, poutine as well…very nice server
I gave this restaurant 5 tries before leaving this review.
Consistently terrible service. Waited over an hour for the food. Fries were cold when they arrived. The pricing is reflective of a 4 Star restaurant but with 2 star cooks.
For example, a chicken nachos costs $23 and it’s nothing special. $25 for a lobster poutine during lobster season, when everyone else charges $17.
Most items come over cooked and very dry, especially their hamburgers…
If you’re ordering a beer, order two because the server won’t be back for a while.
There are lots of better spots in this small town close by.
If you can find another spot in Shediac, take it. This place has lost my family’s business permanently.
Bon service
Wife had a seafood chowder, she said it was like seafood that someone poured heavy cream on top, no flavor. My veggie burger and side was OK but unsatisfying. Staff didn’t seem to care.
We were here 2 years ago and the place wasn’t like this, won’t go back
8. Le Moque-Tortue
Address: 402 Main St unit a, Shediac, NB E4P 2G1, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Wonderful place for a coffe! Desert is great. Loved their stir fry. But didn’t like the chicken curry sandwich
I was there on New Brunswick day 2023
the service was flawless
we had the crab-cakes it was wonderful the dressing on the salad was tasting like angel’s tears.
we had the lobster rolls and it was perfect ! the pasta salad coming with it was supreme and finally the small green salad had no dressing this was the only little tiny missing thing but still perfect !
there was a guitarist / signer and it added a lot to the experience she had a beautiful voice with a great range, her guitar playing skill was on point if you read this keep going you’re great !
It is one of the latest restaurants opened at Shediac.
The Moque-Tortue has a lot of game boards. A lot.
The decoration is very nice and if you are a fan of Alice in Wonderland, you will want to come there every day. There are clins d’oeil about it everywhere, even in the toilet.
The food was excellent. We took the long course.
Excellent restaurant, menu original, bon service magnifique terrasse
Setting was quirky, loads of board games to play at $5/player.
Had the smooth IPA and the (long name) burrito with chicken that was “full of protein” but only saw rice and peppers, refried beans in cheese, salsa and chips ($15). Fine with a small amount/lack of chicken but for the $15 you could just group a cheap dessert and make it $18 to match the value without leaving a $5 taco bell taste when finished. Hot sauce was not that strong, for you spicy lovers you may need to ask for more.
My dad had the seafood linguini ($30) with a glass of pino grigio, no complaints from him.
Honestly, we loved the food. But zero accountability – 20 minutes into our meal I had to politely tell someone that my meal hadn’t arrived yet. They came back 5 minutes later and said they “burned it” and that they were sorry. So after I pointed out that they burned something and didn’t serve a dish to a patron – they delivered it without apology, accountability or acknowledgment and that’s just a bummer. Owner, you’re leaving your servers hanging – had someone literally just acknowledged an error or apologized – we wouldn’t have to tell you about your service. I will take this down immediately with a simple “ok we acknowledge” and etransfer the 20% + gratuity, until then sorry, but three kids in there tonight and super weird. There were a bunch of other unfortunate things with the service but this is the one that needs to be placed on the mantle.
TERRIBLE SERVICE !
We made a reservation for 7 people on a Thursday night for 6:30 to celebrate a birthday! We get there and there’s a line up so we go to the front and ask if we have to wait in line. At first we’re told yes, we need to go to the back of the line and then rudely asked: what time is the reservation? who is it under? and how many people? We give them the information and they let us skip the line and we sit down…. 20 minutes later we are told that it’s gonna be a 1.5 hour wait for food! reluctant to wait, but we did. After 2 hours in a crowded space and one of our friends getting elbowed in the head by the manager walking by and only saying “oops”… we finally got our food. The food was the only good thing about the experience, but it wasn’t good enough for the service and the wait time. One of my friends didn’t get the sauce on the side that she had asked for and our waiter only came to check on us a few times throughout our 3 hour stay…. It’s not a big restaurant…The worst part of this experience wasn’t just the long wait for the food, It was at the end of the night when we are waiting for our bills. Our waiter asked if it’s all separate bills, we said yes it’ll separate and then he proceeds to ask each of us what we ordered so he can write them down again and print them off..… we waited 30 minutes and still nobody came with our bills so we went up to the front where there is already a line forming because everybody else is wanting to pay and leave! I don’t know if there was something wrong with their machines but they didn’t have any of our bills printed. He eventually said he printed them all on one bill and needs to separate them… as he’s fumbling around with computers and paper and debit machines, he continues to ask multiple times each person in line what they ordered so he could put it into the machine…. We end up waiting an hour to pay for our food! It’s 930 at this point, we want to go to home. I’m standing watching this unorganized mess unfold so I ask if there is a manager or anyone around to help him out it seems like he’s having a hard time keeping things straight. I say to a few of staff members standing near the front that we have been waiting for a long time, I said is this like a technical issue or what? Are you going to keep us here all night? The manager was right there, I said why are we waiting so long? I asked about compensation for this terrible wait and the manager mumbled it’s a busy night and didn’t once make eye contact, or apologize, or try to understand the situation, or even explain to us what was going on because we are so confused what the problem is and why our orders just can’t be paid for. I don’t understand how that service was allowed and we paid full price… just not great, didn’t seem like they had a great system going on and probably should have at some point told people before they sat down how long the wait would be, we made a reservation for a reason. Anyway. Just bad probably will never go back.
Server wasn’t very friendly; very condescending. Food is delicious but portions for price is ridiculous. Will not be back. Will stick with Gusto and Petit Paris.
9. Coastline Barbershop
Address: Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2G8, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Nice place. Been there 3 years in a row now for my christmas staff party.
Great service
Comfortable beds and a nice continental Breakfast.
Great place great service good location
Descent hotel with pretty good restaurant.
Had a phenominal meal in the restuarant. It was great!
The worst stay and service I ever had. The hotel should be downgraded to 2 stars. The noise of kids running in corridors and banging on doors until midnight. I had a long day of driving and meetings and couldn’t sleep from the noise. Despite my complains to quite the noise but nothing was done about it. The excuse they had was a hockey team was staying at the hotel! It was like a playground. Not even an apology was made! What a lousy management and very poor service! Take my advise and find a more decent hotel to stay in.
Dommage on l’aimait bien!
11. Shediac Lobster Festival
Address: 58 Rue Festival, Shediac, NB E4P 1S4, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
We stumbled upon this festival on our travels. Our 3, 6 and 8 year old loved it. Wednesday was a bonus because all the rides were only $2 (plus people gave us a bunch of tokens). Awesome prices on lobster. Live music. Educational stuff. Lots of fun. Bonus tip is there is a really cool park next door at the school. Cute town! Friendly people.
I have no idea how they bring all these amazing rides to our tiny city!! Miss the spinning UFO though
It’s fun but a little expensive for what they have there
Shediac lobster festival used to be a very happening place when I was a teenager to young adult. Now there are a few rides but not like it used to be before covid. Not sure if it’s covid that changed this place or other things. I brought my niece and nephew this past summer and was disappointed. Also in the past years you could buy advance bracelets at Coop (IGA) or Jean Coutu but not anymore. For advance bracelets it is all online. Shediac Lobster Festival is still a happening place but definitely notice it was.
Funtimes lol
Anyone looking to attend; please note:
THIS IS NOT A LOBSTER FESTIVAL!!
This is a small local carnival. Dead serious
12. Eastern Shores Apparel & Accessories
Address: 122-342 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2E7, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Great place to get exhaust work done on your car or truck and great workers at a great price.
Maurice does a great job on the exhaust system would recommend this place to anybody.
Always good prices and quality work my go to shop when I’m in need of exhaust work
Great service
Very pleased with the work and prices, def go back. Friendly
Very friendly staff, reasonable prices.
Awful experience, went to get an inspection, and they said a part on my vehicle was no good when he showed me the part that was done, I was shocked it looked completely fine no visible wear or tear, i said to the guy at the shop, your kidding right he said I can’t pass you, I went to another garage few days later come to find out the part is actually fine, the part he wanted replaced is 800 bucks what a scam….
14. Chez Linda
Address: 534 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2H1, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
The food was awesome and the prices are great! Service has also been top notch every time!
We have been here twice and did not disappoint. The breakfast is very good as is the supper. A nice local restaurant. And the service is great too !!
Love the eggs Benny and the blueberry pancakes. The service is awesome and friendly.
Enjoy the food I’m sorry
My sister and I went there today for lunch. We both decided on eggs Benedict. They were very good and the home fries that came on the side were excellent. The eggs were a perfectly cooked medium and the home fries were crispy throughout the meal. I certainly will be going back to try some of their other dishes. Definitely recommend.
A ré-essayer…
They’re so nice but the food wasn’t as expected. 3 out of 4 of us got pancakes and they weren’t cooked all of the way through, there was raw batter in the middle even after having them remade. I also would not recommend the sausage, it was not good either. The eggs, bacon and potatoes are a safe choice.
Bad service from Christine,
The fish burger 90% breading, 10% fish.
It’s better at McDonald’s.
Avoid going there.
Didn’t get my peas with my hot chicken and mashed patatoe
15. La Gare Resto Bar
Address: 222 Belliveau Ave Level 2, Shediac, NB E4P 0M2, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Staff is top notch
It was overall good.
Service was wonderful but unfortunately our meals were not.
Not professional with the clients at all !
Don’t book online, your reservation might be cancel last minute
16. Dixie Lee Shediac
Address: 366 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2E9, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Stopped in for a family barrel to have with my own and my cousin’s family. Everything tasted great and the chicken was even good cold the next day!
Best chicken ever
Love the chicken burger and salads. Great service!!
Friendly staff great community service to
Pointe Du Chene
Nice staff , 10 min wait
Classic takeout, way better then other fast food! The Poutine is great! Located downtown Shediac and easy to get to!
$32….for that.
The fries are bigger than the clams and the taste was absolutely awful! But the fries were good. Everything else got thrown out.
If you ever go eat here, I only recommend, Fries/Chicken/Gravy.
Don’t get the seafood.
They should stick to what they know best……
No decent amount of spices or herbs on the fried chicken, so not very tasty. Fries are on the bottom end of the scale as well. Not a place I will go back.

THERE IS NO BETTER PLACE TO LIVE, TO EAT, TO VACAY!
Just a bit over priced.
It’s shediac
It’s nice but small. However not many places like this exist anymore.so I say go enjoy and spend a bit of cash on urself..
18. Seaside Grazing
Address: 310 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2E3, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
Had an amazing stay at The Port featuring Seaside Grazing and Bower Hotel! Awesome service and food
(Chef Alesha has perfected the art of charcuterie boards to a tee!), perfect selection of live entertainment to chill on a sunny afternoon or evening by the outdoors fireplace (they even provide blankets!) and most of all, they made me feel right at home.
Hands down the most unique place in Shediac. If you haven’t been there yet, you are definitely missing out and should give it a try asap!
I will definitely return…in a couple of weeks!
Two thumbs up and high fives to the whole team! Big love ❤️
The owner Alesha was wonderful to deal with.
The server went above and beyond! Her name was Melanie she got my drinks immediately, they were great and my food was so good!
This place is very cute with outdoor seating and live music. The service however was very lacking. We were told to take menus and seat ourselves. We picked a table and after a long wait our server came to greet us. The menu is slim and doesn’t really offer any entree’s so we both ordered the seafood chowder ($18). After waiting an eternity one small bowl arrived and the waiter assured us the other one was coming. It finally arrived after my guest has already finished theirs. There was no apology offered and the chowder itself was small and watery with one scallop and one piece of lobster meat in each bowl.
The charcuterie was weak, I’ve never seen cubed cheese like that or chunks of pepperoni scattered next to 3 olives. Interesting stuff. Won’t be back.
19. Kuro sushi
Address: 344 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P 2E8, Canada , Shediac , New Brunswick , Canada
This is one of my top list Japanese restaurant. Delicous food and very beautiful deco. No park lot but can stop the car on the street in front the restaurant.
If you are looking for Asian food, Kuro sushi is the best restaurant in Shediac.
The sushi quality is excellent and staff are friendly. It’s a good place to have meal with friends. I’m definitely will visit here again.
Came with a few people in my marching band, staff was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic. 10/10
The spicy tuna roll and a few of the other rolls has the fish ground up into some sort of tartar- it gives a cat food vibe and is really unappetizing. I wish they would change it back. I had it a few months ago and sent it back. I forgot this time, and was quickly disappointed. Nobody makes sushi with ground up fresh tuna. It’s really not good. Everything else was excellent- I just wish they would stop trying to be different with something that doesn’t need to be reimagined. It was takeout this time, and my guests each had 1 piece and spat it out. The rest went into the garbage. Like I say, the rest is excellent but avoid the tartar (ground up fish) inspired rolls. It’s enough to do their business in. Yuck.
Ordered wonton soup and a classic salmon roll. The salmon roll was decent but the wonton soup was very good! Service was good and fast.
Sushi does not taste fresh.
Hospitality was at a minimum – though only few customers dining in..
My little sister and I went here to grab a quick lunch but we were really disappointed. We ordered of the “veggie roll” menu hoping for just that,, a veggie roll. But when the “yam tempura” came to our table it was covered in sauce that was NOT advertised on the menu. When my little sister asked, very politely, what the sauce was they told us it was eel sauce. Since I myself don’t eat fish (not for allergy reasons) we could no longer eat our food that we already payed for. When we told the man working there our problem he replied with “and what do you want me to do about it” in the rudest way possible. We are very disappointed with this service
Hello,
This was my worst dining experience at a dine-in sushi place.
Too many flowers not enough salary on the chef. D Tier Chef
Bland or too sweet sushi, overcooked unseasoned rice.
1 star for friendly staff.
