Ordering from this store to be shipped across the country was incredibly easy and Mark Taylor was super friendly and informative! Would definitely recommend this store.
I loved it! My son got an underpriced 8 string guitar! He loves it!
Excellent knowledgeable staff particularly Blair who helped today with selecting a quality guitar with warm rich sound within a budget for a Christmas gift for my daughter.
Been 10 years since ive been to this location since i moved… Always friendly knowledgeable staff and top quality instruments in stock always !!
Got my stuff and left.
Walk in 3 times to buy a guitar, all times guys were just standing never ask if I needed help, I don’t do the costumer service for others. Lost a sale.
Treated with absolute disrespect by serving clerk, cut off while trying to talk and explain what I wanted done with my instrument, treated with total disinterest. Contacted them explaining situation, have had no response. Be wary, I would not recommend……..
Unfortunately the service in the drum section seems to have become worse here over the years. When we bought cymbals a few years ago, the staff was ok. The past 2 years we didn’t experience them as very friendly and today we were even told we couldn’t use a cymbal stand to try the cymbals but to simply hit them while hanging on the wall mount – which totally distorts the sound from what they sound like on a stand. We left without buying anything.

Great service! Knowledgeable and friendly staff! Bought some equipment that I really liked but some manufacturing issues. They gave me a few option for how I wanted to deal with the problem.
Ended up going with a different instrument. They were very accommodating with my pickiness and million questions during the whole thing :p
Knowledgeable staff and was able to demonstrate how a guitar hanger worked.
Great service, great people, have made it my personal favourite music store of all time! I have purchased almost all of my equipments and gear from them, thank you very much!
Helpful staff super knowledgeable. Very well laid out store.
I paid for something on finance putting down a deposit of several hundred dollars and filled out an entire contract only to be given a half empty reason I could only finance the tax, AFTER everything had been agreed to. The excuse was apparently a made-up policy as I researched on the website and referenced several people who have been to the store. It’s a real shame my first experience trying to buy music equipment and I won’t be back.
Customer service was non-existent. Upon arriving, I…
-tried out 6-8 Taylor Guitars
-looked at guitar accessories
-checked out brass instruments
Employees seemed interested in talking to each other as they didn’t say a word to me or anyone else around… not even an acknowledgement.
As a visitor to the province, we travelled an hour to check out a couple of places in Saint John… one of them being this store just to check out the selection of guitars.
Been going to this store for the past thirteen years since I’ve started playing guitar and I won’t be coming back, which is a shame since there isn’t really any other music stores around the city that compare.
I’ve bought multiple guitars, amps, pedals plus the rest of my gear from here over the years. The quality is there and never had any issues or complaints, until all of a sudden I start getting really loud feedback on my fender strat that I bought over a year ago.
I get the same feedback/interference when testing on two other amps. Tried my other guitars and no issues. So I know it’s my strat that’s the problem. No big deal I’ll just bring it in and pay to have it looked over and hopefully fixed. The customer service from one individual has always been very poor over the last decade. I’ve always tried to avoid this employee for that reason. (Also need to mention that this worker wasn’t who I went too with with my guitar, but was there to assist the other worker I went too)
Told them my situation and I feel like I got blown off. They kept saying strats always give off feedback (which I don’t disagree with, but they don’t give off the noise my guitar was creating) and ignored the fact I said three times it never did this since I’ve owned it the past year. They wouldn’t even offer to take it in and look it over for me. I felt very frustrated and almost like I didn’t know what I was talking about from the condescending way they talked. I just accepted they wouldn’t do anything and left.
Brought the guitar to beats n bytes, they opened up the back, found one of the wires was loose going to the input jack. Problem fixed.

Amazing store, these guys went out of their way to adjust some instruments I had left in storage. The action needed some adjustments and added some new strings. All in a couple of hours because I live far away. I could mention more, but you will have to go see for yourself…trust me you won’t regret it.
Great service by experienced people who cared.
Do stop in. New and some used instruments. From guitars to bongos to pianos. They service what they sell through sourcing local musical repair persons. Music lessons given here. Staff is super patient and helpful even for the silliest questions. In store sales often. Seriously much inventory packed into this place.
Nice staff but my bass still buzzes after i waited 30-40 minutes to set it up
5. Long & McQuade Musical Instruments

Always great service! Also has musical instruments lessons.
Friendly and helpful staff. We are here every week for lessons with the lesson center. Leah is a fabulous piano teacher.
Good covid procedures. Store is great staff helpful. Wish they carried more of their online stock in store, they seem to be out of a lot of things
Very clean, respectful and knowledgeable staff when I visited.
My first time at the Fredricton Long and McQuade. Very organized and some really cool inventory I don’t see often . A Dr. Z amp, and timpani??? Awesome!
The staff were really great also.
Definitely will be making a return visit.
I go into this store frequently hoping to see something good. Their left handed stock is comprised of 1 cheap simon and patrick acoustic that has the same strings it had when I first moved here a year ago, and some combination of a cheap bullet strat, classic vibe telecaster, cheap epiphone sg, and one time they had a MIM fender strat. I shouldn’t get excited to see one MIM strat when I walk into a music store. Their selection of picks is very limited and strings are a bit pricey. I don’t know if I’ve ever spent money in this store even though I check at least weekly trying to.
Staff are very friendly and quick to help as soon as you walk in the door, however this is the third year in a row I have tried to rent equipment from L&M for an event, and the third year that I was either sent off without everything I had ordered, or pieces of the equipment were not working. Very inconvenient and I will be renting from somewhere else next year.

Always great service, and a wide selection of musical instruments.
Always a pleasure to pop into Tony’s and check out what they have in stock. I recently brought an amp in to have some tubes replaced and have it re-biased. The staff is very friendly and the service is always top notch.
They have been open for quite some time so that can speak to their standard of business, have had a few problems occur with them in the past but overall its a good music shop!
Helping staff. Not a wide range of working hours.
Great store, great service!! Fredericton best music store!!
Not a very good selection on acoustic guitars. Service was ok but not outstanding…however they are willing to make deals unlike long and mcquade
They should focus on music considering the masks and hand sanitizer do little to nothing, they’ve forgotten how to respect people and have become the covid cult like most big businesses.
Well…I go in there the other day…haven’t been in there in a long time…I pick up a expensive guitar, didnt play it …and there is a yellow piece of paper on it with a date..the guy that was working there..says please dont handle everything in the store..he was very rude to me …so I said you just lost my business…and walked out ! You better tell your staff how to speak to people!!

Great selections of everything and knowledgeable staff
Great selection of vinyl! I managed to grab a Beatles Sgt. Pepper’s lonely hearts club band picture disc!!
We are from out of town and were very impressed with the knowledgeable employee and the wide variety of music styles and mediums to choose from. We will definitely purchase from here again
Good store
Decent selection, but pricey on vinyl.
Always cool memorabilia in stock
Made a call. Asked a question and got hung up on. And when I called the same number back I got the fax line. Sounds like a “solid” business .Horrible customer service.

Long & McQuade.

Always welcoming and excellent customer service!
Great products, great service
Great friendly service! They answer all your questions. Good prices on quality equipment, for all your musical needs
Great service. Comfortable environment with lots to look at.
Called to see if open, let them know I am headed over. After driving there from out of town, they aren’t open. Not an issue, as they left a note explaining why, just wish they could’ve mentioned it when I phoned.

Bill’s horn shop is where you go if you want the best in new instruments, highest quality pre-owned instruments, and excellent “like new” repair-work. Bill works magic in the shop, and Chantal’s music lessons are phenomenal! I’ve had nothing but great experiences here, and is unequivocally the best shop of its kind that I’ve been to across Canada.
Best place to buy instruments and service.
Great service!
Just spoke on the phone. He seems very knowledgeable..friendly..
15. Los Cabos Drumsticks
Address: 29 Millennium Dr, Hanwell, NB E3B 2N9, Canada , Müna , New Brunswick , Canada
Los Cabos Drumsticks are amazing! I personally break a lot of sticks so I use the 5A Red Hickory Intense! Red hickory is extremely song and the intense version actually adds some length to the stick so you can have some extra reach! Not too mention the owners are extremely nice people!
I am using the 5B Los Cabos Drumsticks since 10 years now! As a pro session drummer, I need to cover a lot of different music styles (pop, jazz, rock, folk). Before I discovered the Los Cabos brand, I was always struggling to find the best 5B on the market. The LCD 5b’s are the most versatile sticks on the market, period. Also, take a look at there Slapsticks (RODS). Again they are the long lasting rods on the market! Happy drummer I am everytime I play the Los Cabos Drumsticks.!
Sincerely,
Gordon Wood
I’ve been using Los Cabos Drumsticks for 3.5 years now, and love them! I was drawn to them for their philanthropic work in funding breast cancer research. I’m a breast cancer survivor, so that said a lot about the company to me! I love using the pink sticks; not only do they look good, but they are also far more durable than most sticks I’ve used in my 30+ career in drumming. Los Cabos has also been an amazing supporter of our nonprofit, Breast Cancer Can Stick It!. I would recommend Los Cabos Drumsticks to any drummer – wonderful people, wonderful product.
