Knowledge friendly staff
I ordered the speaker in May, and then waited for it for more than 4 and a half months and haven’t received it until the refund. Really bad customer service and the shopping experience, will never come here again.
This is more or less about London Guitars inside of the P.A. Shop. The dudes are knowledgeable but the selection is very weak and the store is about the size of a shoe box. On multiple occasions I have gone there to order gear or trade and the conversation always ends with “ohh come back and talk to so and so.” The grand time wasters!!!! I highly recommend Bellones or Long and Mcquade for music needs either store has never wasted my time and their staff are great!
I ordered an audio interface online. They took my money no problem but good luck getting them to ship it. 10 days and they have yet to ship my product or give a tracking number. It’s possible they use carrier pigeons because the weather has not been the greatest in my area, and that would explain the delay. Use an actual retailer site like Amazon. Might pay a lick more but at least you receive the product.

My husband and I have been shopping here for years, he plays guitar, so does my dad. It’s always been a good experience both shopping and ordering however I’ve recently had a few negative experiences with one of the newer staff. I’ve dealt with her a couple times and she was extremely rude and confrontational. I wanted to order a present for my husband and when she couldn’t find it or didn’t understand what I was looking for she told me to order it myself online. I told her I’d seen it on the website and she became very flustered and rude. I was in again last week and had to deal with her again as she was the only staff member standing by the checkout. When she finally put her phone down and acknowledged I was waiting to pay she couldn’t bother to hide the fact I was inconveniencing her. I do like this store, my husband calls it his toy store, but this staff member is very negative and has a toxic attitude. Otherwise, we’ve been happy shopping here for years. And the location is great, just off the 401. Easy to get to for us out of towners!

I went in to pick up some pics and talk to see if my new (to me) guitar needed a tune up. Its my first time playing and I wanted to try and learn using Rock Smith. When I mentioned to the clerk, I thought he was having a seizure as his eyes rolled so far back in his skull I didn’t think they would be able find their way back. He then had a very dismissive tone. I go the hint, and mentioned that I needed pics, which he was able to point me to the section. When I arrived I learned that there are different sizes, however, the previous interaction meant I was definitely not going to be asking for help with what pics would be best.
Extremely disappointing, as I am just trying to learn guitar and was severely negatively judged on how I decided to learn.
Will definitely be finding a different music store for any other music accessory or instrument I need.
I had some work done on my Epi Explorer only to find out that the work was shotty, the setup wasn’t finished, and the parts I requested were installed incorrectly. I went back a second time to request said work be inspected and made right only to find out it STILL wasn’t fixed. Jack Long WOULD NOT be impressed. Thank You L&M for screwing ME and my beloved instruments over.

Hey! Everyone with a guitar, GO HERE! The man I met at the door who I’m assuming is Jj knew more about guitars then anyone I’ve ever met. I described the sound of what I was looking for in a guitar and how I had been reading reviews and watching videos of various brands. He pointed out the flaws in the guitar I brought in for repairs and handed me a Seagull S6(made in Canada). I have never owned a guitar that sounded this amazing. Exactly what I described! He offered a price lower any I’d seen online for that model. Gave me a discount for my trade in. A quality instrument has made a big difference in my playing and I owe it all to these guys. They will be getting ALL MY BUSINESS FROM NOW ON! Thank you Jj’s!
Wide selection of product and a surprising amount of really nice varied array of Godin’s in stock. The courteous, patient, helpful staff go far to make sure a customer leaves happy.
The only wrench in the works is the somewhat tucked away location and little signage directing you to their unit on the south side of the building they’re in.
JJ’s is alright, if you’re looking for something specific, but nothing special. They have the necessities, but few big names in the industry. They did however keep trying to get me to trade in one of my guitars for a godin… just saying. I’ll stick with L&M, but that’s the opinion of one guitar player.
I went in for a guitar rack and left with a guitar as well…first time in the store and definitely recommend it. Super friendly and helpful staff, I will be back for all my musical needs.

I’ve never paid so little for the obviosly amazing work this guy did on repairing my acoustic guitar! If I ever need to repair my instrument again he will be my first and only choice. I was so close to buy a new guitar but now my old one sounds better than ever!!!
Jovan did amazing work on both my Gibson SG, and Takamine electric acoustic. They both play and sound better than ever before. I highly recommend TEO Musical instruments Studio!
I purchased my 1st Guitar in Canada from L&M London ON (Fanshawe Park) store, the service was awesome. The guitar was delivered on time without any damages and the store staff was very helpful. Thank you L&M.
I decided to try and learn an instrument over a year ago as an adult beginner which can be super intimidating. Everyone was super helpful and it look less than an hour to have my instrument rented and to get signed up for individual classes. My instructor is Cameron- BIG FAN. he is amazing at what he does and a great teacher! Any time I have an issue with my instrument the staff is super helpful and makes sure the issue is dealt with right away.
Since my visit & posting of the one star review Matt from Long & McQuade north reached out to me to clear some things up.
This seems to have been a single problem that I was unfortunate to encounter due to some unpredictable events.
My visit to the store was amazing & I couldn’t be happier with my guitar & the help from the staff. Will be back for sure.
Today I bought my first guitar. Mike Schiffman couldn’t have been more help, he helped me pick an amazing guitar & even demoed it for me. If I was rating my experience based on Mike, it would be 5/5 stars.
Unfortunately Mike could only do so much. We seemed to be just about finished with the smooth transaction until Mike needed my credit to be approved by another staff member…. That wasn’t happening any time soon. They were understaffed. Greg can’t 46 & Dan was held up (understandably) Mike & Greg did everything thing he could to keep us entertained & laughing but our hunger grew & our patience shortened. Mike even called 3 other stores !!
At the end of the day I got my guitar, but only thanks to Mike. Something needs to be done about the short staffing problem. It’s not even Christmas !! It’s a promotional month none the less.
Always enjoy visiting the store. Staff seem great. I rented a guitar here once and it was a great way to try new equipment without buying it first. This time *I called to renew a warranty. Thanks for the reminder. I don’t usually purchase store warranties but I did in this case. Glad I did. I think it’s great having a good sized store in town. The poor reviews are mostly store experience and that is, of course, something that every store operator needs to pay attention to. There’s always room for improvement.
Went in today to start shopping for a new guitar. Spent twenty minutes walking around looking and feeling like a dork. Nobody spoke to me at all . They were busy speaking to one another. Not going back.
Was there on a Saturday morning to pick up a rental order for a family member. Dealt with 2 different people who tried their best to complicate the process while maintaining a horrible attitude throughout. Spoke with the manager – Matt about it. He seemed to genuinely care but didn’t really make an attempt to rectify. The way everyone acted they must be the only music store in London. I’m going to look in in to that as it would explain my morning.
I dropped my guitar off for the “free” tune up service included with the purchase of my guitar. Was extremely shocked when I was informed my guitar was ready for pickup and there was a bill for $44. Did not receive any notice of this when I dropped it off or before the service was completed and was just expected to pay it when I picked up my guitar. Clearly this is just a scheme to make additional money and not at all a free service included with the original purchase. Disappointing as I have purchased two guitars from here in the last year from here and was impressed with the sales and service until this point. Will be making my next purchase elsewhere.
